how should i start with alcohol?

I am 23 125lbs and about 5′9″. I have tasted some alcohol but have never had a drink. I dont know what to start off with and how much to have,i want to be able to have some drinks but i dont want to get sick.My house has a full bar but i have no idea what to go for.I have tasted beer and dont really like it that much,so im leaning towards liquor.as for wine,ill leave that for dates,im talking about drinking at parties.can anyone help me?

    most starters go for rum an coke but i must say anything can make you sick if you don’t know you limits.

    Beer & wine are usually the standard at parties.

    If you’re going to try spirits, just have a small amount in the glass and top up with coke or sprite/lemonade…spirits are very very strong. Also, that way, you can alternate with a glass of coke / sprite and no-one need know that you’re not drinking alcohol - it isn’t compulsory, by the way. The only problem may be with drinking so much fizz - you can get bloated.

    Alternatively try a Bloody Mary and alternate with a tomato juice - you can still have the tabasco, Worcester sauce etc, without the vodka, whcihy makes it a Virgin Mary.

    Perhaps at home, try beer & lager - there are different makes, some stronger than others and they don’t all taste the same.
